Composé de Erica ASHLESON, batteuse-chanteuse, et de Guillaume SIRACUSA, guitariste-chanteur, le duo franco-américain SPECIAL FRIEND, c’est un peu DINOSAUR Jr. qui signerait chez Sarah Records, les STROKES en Converse propres, MOJAVE 3 qui reprendrait les WALKABOUTS, les PASTELS en vacances chez Robert FOSTER… Leur troisième et nouvel album Clipping est harmonieux, sensuel et électrique (parfois furibard), irrésistible de bout en bout, car bénéficiant d'une production pop, lumineuse et aérée, assurée par Alexis FUGAIN (membre du groupe BICHE), loin de la posture lo-fi des origines.
La hype BAR ITALIA fut un décevant feu de paille… Ruez-vous plutôt sur notre vedette SPECIAL FRIEND, valeur très sûre de l’année 2026 !
