Sous le Saint Patronage de John LENNON, Jeffrey LEE PIERCE et EPIC SOUNDTRACKS - tous trois depuis l'au-delà, ce nouveau disque de Nick WHEELDON, notre chouchou anglais (qui vit en France depuis des lustres) est une merveille.
L’ensemble est épique, sur la corde raide, très incarné, sauvage, et on ne peut plus habité. Ça joue collectif (grâce à l'excellent groupe The LIVING PAINTINGS), le piano apporte un vrai plus aux morceaux et Nick WHEELDON a toujours sa singularité vocale : un chant écorché et poignant.
Vous imaginez, sans surprise, qu’il sera bien placé dans le top 2024 de la Casbah, alors même que l'année ne fait que commencer.
