Avec son quatrième album, le quatuor néerlandais continue d'expérimenter le croisement de l'indie rock des nineties avec l'esprit du VELVET UNDERGROUND. LEWSBERG conserve toutefois cette identité de groupe bricoleur dans lequel tout le monde peut prendre le micro ou s'essayer à un solo fragile. Comme en témoigne l'interview du chanteur-parleur Arie VAN VLIET dans notre Casbah Webzine, LEWSBERG défend cette approche collaborative et expérimentale de la musique comme une sorte de music-lab. Ritournelles de guitares répétitives, voix parlées ou susurées, guitar lead approximative : voilà la recette gagnante pleine d'humilité de Out and about.
